Mission Statement
For Gold Star Dads of America Incorporated

It is our desire to build an ongoing support mechanism to honor the families of active duty soldiers who died during the Global War on Terror, and to assist U.S. military personnel from every branch of service who have suffered debilitating catastrophic injuries.

The mission of Gold Star Dads of America is to provide the much needed funding to purchase and distribute high quality wheelchairs for our Wounded Warriors and to assist and encourage these fine young men and women and their families. They deserve nothing less than the best we can give.

Under the permanent theme of "Putting Heroes in Motion" the Gold Star Dads of America will organize and fund the Wheels For Heroes ™ Project. The Wheels For Heroes ™ Project has been established to provide several ongoing events through which corporate and private patriots can directly contribute to honoring our gallant heroes.

You Can Help

We realize that times are tuff economically for many families across America, we also understand that your family and your church comes first, as it should be. If, at the end of your financial obligations you still have room for a little more giving we would appreciate your consideration. If you can spare $10, $25, $100 or maybe even $250, your passion and commitment can go a long way towards providing the care these wounded warriors deserve.

 

 

How will we Honor them, How will they be Remembered?

The goal of the GoldStarDads.org website is to bring together the ‘gold star’ fathers in a single online community enabling them to honor and remember their son's/daughter's, and to support one another in our loss. The website also helps provide public awareness of our mission, and creates a positive outlet for the military community.

It is imperative that we as a nation never forget the ultimate sacrifice made by our fighting forces and the devastating impact there death has on their families and friends. With that thought in mind we have designed the "American Hero Tribute" Memorial Plaque honoring their service and the families sacrifice in the name of freedom. These beautiful, 8" x 6" crescent shaped, solid Jade Glass plaques will be personalized with your heroes Full Name & Rank. It is our hope that these Tributes will commemorate the fallen warriors service and honor his families sacrifice and that all who view them will take a few moments to reflect on their bravery and dedication.
