AAFES Gift Certificates
The Army and Air Force Exchange Services is where most servicemen and women do their shopping. You can purchase gift certificates for families serving state side, those in Iraq and those hospitalized.

American Gold Star Mothers
American Gold Star Mothers, Inc. is an organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country.

Blue Star Mothers
The Blue Star Mothers was founded by service members' moms during World War II. Any mother with a son or daughter in the military can join.

Gold Star Dads of America
Honoring US Soldiers and Supporting the Families of Fallen Hero's.

Silver Star Families of America
Honoring and assisting wounded and ill service members with Silver Star Service Banners. Extensive PTS support, 1st Responders PTS Guide, Yahoo support group, Chaplain and many programs available.

T.A.P.S.
Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors. TAPS has experienced, empathetic caseworkers who act as liaisons, assisting the family members in finding solutions to problems. Working hand in hand with the appropriate federal, state and private agencies, they have been successful in helping find solutions to problems that arise long after the official file has been closed.

Operation Air Conditioner
Operation Air Conditioner provides not only air conditioners but space heaters (the desert is cold in the winter) for soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Operation Hero Miles
You can donate your unused frequent flier miles to help soldiers travel on emergency leave. They are also used to help families fly to hospitalized soldiers.

Adopt a Platoon has several ongoing projects to ensure that no soldier overseas walks away from mail call empty-handed.

Any Soldier
Any Soldier is a non-profit organization that helps people send care packages to members of the armed services in Iraq.

Books For Soldiers
Help the troops escape boredom by donating some books. You can also donate DVD's and CDs requested by soldiers.

Operation: A Bit of Home
Operation: A Bit of Home supports over 150 different soldiers per day by providing necessary and hard-to-get toiletries.

Operation Kids for Troops
Write directly to men and women serving overseas in combat areas. Or place the names of loved ones serving overseas on the "OKFT Hero List" to receive encouraging mail.

Treats for Troops
Treats for Troops helps get you provide packages to your loved ones overseas. If you don't know anyone, the Foster-A-Soldier Program matches you with a registered soldier by branch of service, home state, gender, or birthday - or you can choose to sponsor a group of soldiers.

Dog Tags for Kids
Too often in war, the dependents of soldiers are overlooked in their personal hardship.  I believe that the ID tags will help the children of our deployed soldiers remember that while their parent is deployed they are not forgotten.

MOM'S Cookies provides deployed military troops with our special  packages. Each Box of Home contains a Prepaid Phone Card, individual holiday packs, snack packs, hygiene packs, writing packs, and, of course, HOMEMADE COOKIES provided by our baker's network!

Cell Phones for Soldiers
Donated cell phones are recycled and turned into cash. The cash is used to purchase calling cards for soldiers in Iraq.

Freedom Calls
The Freedom Calls Foundation is helping families video conference with their loved ones in Iraq. You can donate money to help keep this project going.

Voice from Home
Voices From Home allows military members and their families and friends to send and receive immediate voice e-mail messages in remote locations around the world.

Fisher House
The Fisher House Foundation donates comfort homes, built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.

USO Cares
You can sponsor care packages provided by the USO with a $25 donation.

Lead the Way Fund
A non-profit organization established to raise funds in support of families of U.S. Army Rangers who have died, have been disabled or who are currently serving in harm's way around the world. The funds raised will provide spouses and children of deceased, disabled or active duty Rangers with assistance for health and wellness programs and other financial aid programs.

Homes for Our Troops assists injured veterans and their immediate families by building new or adapting existing homes with handicapped accessibility.

Education Grants & Scholarships

Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund provides grants to the families of servicemen and women who died in Iraq. You can donate online, through mail or by calling a toll-free number.

Special Tribute Organizations

Carry the Flame
conducts an annual coast-to-coast motorcycle ride to raise money in support of Veterans' families, Veterans' issues and to increase awareness about America's POW/MIAs from all wars.

Rolling Thunder
  Rolling Thunder®, Inc.'s major function is to publicize the POW-MIA issue. To help correct the past and to protect the future veterans from being left behind should they become prisoners of war-missing in action. We are committed to helping American veterans from all wars!

Worcester Wreath Co.
the Worcester Wreath Company - of Harrington, Maine. The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992. "The Arlington Project and Wreaths Across America is about the spirit of appreciation for what we have, and a determination to give something back."
