Gold Star Dads of America, Inc. is a Nonprofit Corporation in the state of California with a nine-member Board of Directors, and two Advisory Boards. Effective as of June 3, 2008, Gold Star Dads of America, Inc. is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) public charity.
As per the IRS, contributions to a 501(c)(3) public charity are deductible under Section 170 of the Code. IRS recognized public charities are qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
